Terms And Conditions

Customer (Client) wishes to reserve or purchase a sauna unit (the “Mobile Unit”) from Sauna Depot. The Client understands and agrees that Sauna Depot must approve this Agreement before a reservation can be confirmed, If this Agreement approved, the Client authorizes Sauna Depot to charge the Client’s credit card for reservation for the fee/rental/purchase amount/purchase deposit, or for any damages caused during the rental/purchase period. Payments for the rental/purchase/purchase of the Mobile Unit, may also be made via cash, certified cheque, or debit card. This agreement is for the temporary use of renting the Mobile Unit from Sauna Depot to be exclusively used at the location noted above. This agreement is also for the purchase of any Mobile Unit or Sauna or Shed from Sauna Depot to be exclusively used at the location noted above. This Agreement prohibits the Client or any other person or entity the right to tow or otherwise move the Mobile Unit from the same precise area location, which the Mobile Unit was originally placed upon delivery at the Location. Sauna Depot makes no warranties, express, implied or apparent regarding the Mobile Unit. Sauna Depot shall deliver the Mobile Unit directly to the location at the rental/purchase period start date, and Sauna Depot shall set up the Mobile Unit for the Client’s use, and at the completion date of the rental/purchase period, Sauna Depot shall pick up the Mobile Unit. Sauna Depot shall provide the Client with an instructions and orientation to demonstrate the safe and proper use and features of the Mobile Unit. The Client shall return the Mobile Unit to Sauna Depot in the in the same condition and the same good state of repair, as it was originally delivered to the Client. The Client acknowledges that the delivery of the Mobile Unit is in good working condition, and is free of any interior or exterior damage, unless otherwise expressed to Sauna Depot. Sauna Depot is not responsible whatsoever or howsoever for any lost, stolen or damaged property of Client or any other person during the rental/purchase period of the Mobile Unit. OVERVIEW OF CONTRAINDICATIONS: READ CAREFULLY PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING SAUNA USE: Saunas creating a cure for or treating any disease is neither implies nor should be inferred. DO NOT attempt to self-treat any disease with a sauna without direct supervision or consultation of a physician before using a sauna. Hydration is a requirement for sauna use. Drinking advanced electrolyte replacement water is also recommended before and after sauna use. Smoking not permitted in the sauna. The wood surface absorbs the tobacco and will cause damage to the sauna, and may cause allergic reactions to other clients. Pregnant women should consult with a physician, before using sauna, because fetal damage can occur with a certain elevated body temperature. Pacemaker or Defibrillator, all persons who have a Pacemaker or Defibrillator should consult with their physician on the possible risks sauna may cause. Medications by persons who are using prescription drugs should seek the advice of a physician before using the sauna. Elderly persons ability to maintain core body temperature decreases with age. This is primarily due to circulatory conditions and decreased sweat gland function. The body must be able to activate its natural cooling processes in order to maintain core body temperature. Cardiovascular conditions or problems (hypertension / hypotension), congestive heart failure, impaired coronary circulation or those who are taking medications, which might affect blood pressure, should exercise extreme caution when exposed to prolonged heat. Heat stress increases cardiac output, blood flow, in an effort to transfer internal body heat to the outside environment via the skin (perspiration) and respiratory system. This takes place primarily due to major changes in the heart rate, which has the potential to increase by thirty (30) beats per minute for each degree increase in core body temperature. All persons under the age of 18, must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible and competent adult person. Alcohol consumption is not advisable to attempt to “Sweat Out” a hangover. Alcohol intoxication decreases a person’s judgment; therefore, they may not realize it when the body has a negative reaction to high heat. Alcohol also increases the heart rate, which may be further increased by heat stress. Chronic conditions / disease associated with reduced ability to sweat or perspire such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Central Nervous System Tumors and Diabetes with Neuropathy are conditions that are associated with impaired sweating. Hemophilliacs or persons prone to bleeding should consult with a doctor before using sauna. Fever, Any person that has a fever or high temperature reading should not use the sauna. Insensitivity to heat, any person that has insensitivity to heat should not use the sauna. Menstruation, the heating of the low back area of women during the menstrual period may temporarily increase their menstrual flow. Some women endure this process to gain the pain relief commonly associated with their cycle whereas others simply choose to avoid sauna use during that time of the month. Joint injury, any person with recent (acute) joint injury, should not be heated for the first 48 hours after an injury or until the hot and swollen symptoms subside. If you have a joint or joints that are chronically hot and swollen, these joints may respond poorly to vigorous heating of any kind. Vigorous heating is strictly contra-indicated in cases of enclosed infections be they dental, in joints or in any other tissues. Implants, any person with implants of any type should seek the advice of a physician before using sauna. USE COMMON SENSE: Any person using the sauna shall make sure at all times, to exercise common sense and use extreme caution to avoid any risks or harm both to themselves and others. Prohibited Use and Activities in the Mobile Unit: Absolutely NO alcohol consumption, no horse playing, no smoking, no drugs no breakables items, including but not limited to drinking glass, bottles, ceramic plates and dishes. Time Management of Sauna: Saunas do not require a large amount of time to reap the benefits. A healthy person should spend about 10 to 15 minutes inside. That time should be shortened immediately upon you realize or experience any shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness or any other discomfort. Burns: Avoid accidental burns. Do not touch the heater-rocks when rocks are in use. Cancellation: Cancellation by the Client must be made at least 48 hours before the rental/purchase start date. Failing that, the Client shall be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. Sauna Depot reserves the right to cancel this agreement at anytime before or during the rental/purchase term period, in the event of any unanticipated or unforeseeable circumstances arisng, or if it deems a breach of this agreement. Caring for the Sauna and as it is Used: Its recommended all persons use a thick terrycloth towel, folded double, on every bench for comfort and to absorb perspiration oils and salts. Keep the mobile unit free of any chemicals, and any sharp or loose objects, which may cause injury or a slip and fall. Make sure to wear the proper footwear at all times in the Mobile Unit to avoid any slip and fall. AND ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE, IN BEING CAREFUL AND VIGILANT AT ALL TIMES. NO UNDERAGE PERSONS: The Client shall be fully responsible and liable for making sure that any and all persons being under the age of 18 years (“Underage Person”), participating or using the Mobile Unit , has received the expressed and explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian of the Underage Person, to permitting the Under Age person to participate or to use the Mobile Unit under strict and vigilant supervision by the Client, or that of a competent, capable and mature adult person.

WAIVER and REALEASE of LIABILITY

The Client hereby acknowledges, agrees and understands that Sauna Depot, its owners, shareholders, affiliates, officers and employees shall NOT be liable or responsible in any way whatsoever for any injury, death or health related issues to any person or for any loss or damage to any property at any time on or about the Mobile Unit, or any property owned by or being the responsibility of the Client, including but not limited to the Client’s servants, agents, customers, associates, affiliates, friends, guests and family members, or for whom the Client in law is responsible for while on or about the Mobile Unit , no matter how the same shall be caused from the use or participation of the Mobile Unit, or whether or not resulting from the negligence of Sauna Depot.

INDEMNIFICATION and WAIVER

The Client shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sauna Depot, its respective employees, its persons responsible under laws, officers, agents and successors and assigns against all losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, claims, demands, awards, costs, legal fees, and other expenses which may be incurred by Sauna Depot in any manner arising from this Rental/purchase Agreement or Sauna Depot performance of service, whether directly or indirectly arising from the Mobile Unit or from any other person or thing, including claims of, or liabilities to, third parties. Client may present a claim to his/her insurance carrier for such events or losses; but in any event, the Client shall have final and full responsibility to Sauna Depot, for all and any such losses. This indemnification shall survive the termination of this Agreement. This Agreement is governed under the Laws of the Province of Ontario

REFUND and REIMBURSEMENT

Sauna Depot reserves the right to not offer any monetary reimbursement or “refund” for any product sold including but not limited to inventory seen on our website, social media, or other markets. By contacting Sauna Depot and purchasing a product Sauna Depot assumes understanding of this policy. To satisfy our clients – if there are any damages, misplacements, miss-alignments, errors in installation, fabrication defects, etc Sauna Depot may offer a complimentary service and repair appointment.

Before “firing” or using the sauna or hot tub the lids and/or doors must be closed to avoid any injury to the person(s) using it.
