The Harvia Virta 9 kW Freestanding Electric Sauna Heater is a high-performance, freestanding heater designed for medium to larger home saunas and light commercial use, offering quiet operation, consistent heat, and long-term reliability.

With a generous stone capacity, the Virta delivers smooth, even steam and stable temperatures throughout extended sauna sessions. Its heating elements are positioned separately from the stones, improving airflow and helping extend component lifespan—ideal for frequent use.

Maintenance is simple thanks to a front-access service hatch, allowing quick inspections or element replacement without removing stones. The durable steel construction and clean design make it well suited for both residential and professional sauna environments.

This model operates with the Harvia Xenio digital control unit (sold separately) and supports Wi-Fi connectivity through the MyHarvia mobile app for convenient remote temperature and timer control.

Made in Finland by Harvia, the Virta 9 kW combines dependable performance, easy maintenance, and authentic Finnish sauna craftsmanship.

Note: Sauna stones and control unit are sold separately.

Harvia Xenio control units (touch pad and power unit) must be installed in a room that does not go below 0 °C (32 °F). For outdoor saunas, they’re usually placed inside the house, with cables running up to 80 ft (24 m) to the sauna. Beyond that distance, there’s a risk of inaccurate readings or malfunction.
