The HUUM Hive Mini 9 kW Modern Wall-Mounted Sauna Heater is one of the most commonly selected models in HUUM’s heater range, following the DROP. While the DROP uses a wall-mounted design, the HIVE Mini is a floor-standing heater that reflects HUUM’s established design approach and engineering principles.

The defining feature of the HIVE Mini is its large stone capacity—the highest among HUUM heaters—which plays a key role in its heat retention and steam output. This construction supports a steady, gentle, and consistent sauna environment suitable for medium to larger sauna rooms.

Heating Capacity & Design

Despite the “Mini” name, this heater delivers strong and reliable performance. The HIVE Mini series is available in 6 kW, 9 kW, and 10.5 kW options, while the standard HIVE models extend to 12 kW, 15 kW, and 18 kW for larger installations.

Customers often ask how the HIVE Mini differs from the DROP when power ratings are similar. The main difference is stone capacity. The HIVE Mini holds up to 150 kg (331 lb) of stones, compared to 55 kg in the DROP. This greater stone mass increases thermal stability, allowing heat to be released more gradually and producing denser, more consistent steam when water is added.
