The HUUM Hive Flow Mini LS Wood-Fired Sauna Heater is engineered for exceptional efficiency and low environmental impact, redefining what a modern wood-fired sauna heater can achieve. Its advanced combustion system directs approximately 75% of the heat from the firewood straight into the sauna, rather than losing it through the chimney. In practical terms, this allows you to enjoy four sauna sessions using the same amount of wood typically required for three.

At the core of the HIVE Flow’s performance is HUUM’s patent-pending airflow and combustion design, which significantly reduces emissions. Carbon monoxide output is limited to 346 mg/m³, far below the 1,000+ mg/m³ common in comparable wood stoves, while particulate emissions are just 25 mg/m³, among the lowest in its class. This efficiency also enables short safety clearances of only 150 mm from combustible materials—considerably less than the standard 200–500 mm—making the stove easier to integrate into compact sauna layouts.

Built for durability and consistent heat delivery, the stove features a 5 mm thick top plate and 3 mm thick steel sides, ensuring even heat distribution and preventing localized overheating. The HIVE Flow Mini LS weighs 73 kg and accommodates up to 150 kg of stones, with an additional 35–40 kg supported by the external stone cage. This substantial stone mass stores heat efficiently, allowing for soft, lingering steam for more than 30 minutes after the fire has burned out.

The experience is enhanced by a large glass furnace door, which brings warmth and visual comfort to the sauna by showcasing the natural movement of the flames—creating an atmosphere similar to a small fireplace.

The HIVE Flow Mini LS fully complies with Germany’s BImSchV Stufe 2 environmental standard and European Commission Regulation 2025/1185 for solid fuel local space heaters, exceeding current efficiency and emissions requirements. The LS (loading side) configuration allows the stove to be fired from an adjacent room, keeping the sauna space clean while improving convenience and safety.

Additional configurations are available, including the HIVE Flow Mini and Mini LS, weighing 54 kg and 59 kg respectively and holding 105 kg of stones. With the optional stone cage, these models can support up to 40 kg of additional stones.
